What Are The Compression And Torsional Properties Of PU Plastic Reinforced Hose

PU plastic reinforced hose performs very well in terms of pressure resistance and torsion resistance.
In terms of pressure resistance, it has a spiral plastic rib structure embedded inside, which greatly enhances the hose's ability to withstand pressure. When subjected to external extrusion, the plastic ribs can effectively disperse the pressure and prevent the hose from being easily flattened. Even in a high-pressure working environment, such as when conveying granular or powdered materials, the lateral pressure exerted by the material on the pipe wall can stably maintain the pipe diameter to ensure smooth passage of the material without blockage or interruption of conveying.
In terms of torsion resistance, spiral plastic ribs also play a key role. In the use scenarios where PU plastic reinforced hoses are frequently bent and twisted, such as industrial vacuum cleaners and ventilation systems, the plastic ribs can limit excessive twisting of the hose, avoid wrinkling of the inner wall due to twisting, and reduce conveying resistance. Moreover, this structure allows the hose to quickly return to its original state after twisting, and will not cause irreversible deformation due to long-term twisting, which greatly extends the service life of the PU plastic reinforced hose and enables it to better adapt to complex and changing working environments.
