Plastic Reinforced Hose Production Process Flow

The plastic reinforced hose production process mainly includes the following steps:

Raw material preparation: First, select suitable polymer materials as basic raw materials, such as polyethylene or rubber. These materials need to be mixed evenly to ensure stable quality.

Mixing: The selected materials are heated and melted by an extruder and extruded into a tube through a mold. In this process, preset metal or high-strength fiber ribs can be embedded in the tube wall to enhance its tensile strength and pressure resistance.

Extrusion molding: The molten plastic is continuously extruded and formed into a tube through the barrel and screw of the extruder. The temperature control of the extruder directly affects the fluidity of the melt and the quality of the extruded product. Usually, when extruding a hose with powder, the process temperature is slightly lower than that when extruding a granular material.

Cooling and shaping: The temperature of the hose after extrusion is still very high, and it needs to be cooled and shaped to obtain accurate size and geometry. There are many ways to cool. For hoses with larger diameters, compressed air is usually blown into the tube to ensure the accuracy and stability of the size.

Surface treatment: After cooling and shaping, internal and external surface treatments are carried out, such as smoothness treatment and anti-corrosion treatment, to ensure the durability and use effect of the hose.

Quality inspection and packaging: Finally, the produced plastic reinforced hose is inspected for quality, and qualified products will be packaged and stored for use.
