PU Hose is mainly used to transport non-corrosive liquids and gases. It can transport water, oils (such as hydraulic oil, lubricating oil), air and compressed gas. This hose is also suitable for transporting some liquids with mild chemical properties, such as weak acid or weak alkaline solutions, but the concentration cannot be too high.
In the food industry, food-grade PU hose can transport liquids such as beverages, milk, alcohol, etc., which meets hygiene standards. It is often used in industry to transport dust and granular materials, such as plastic particles or powders.
PU hose is not suitable for transporting strong acids (such as concentrated sulfuric acid), strong alkalis (such as sodium hydroxide solution), organic solvents (such as acetone, benzene) or high-temperature steam. These media will damage the PU material and cause the hose to deform or rupture.
Before selecting a PU Hose, confirm the chemical properties and temperature range of the transport medium to avoid leakage or failure caused by material incompatibility. Regularly check whether the inner wall of the hose is aging or discolored to detect potential problems in advance.
