Precautions for plastic reinforced hoses

When using plastic reinforced hoses, you need to pay attention to the following points:

Avoid long-term exposure to sunlight or high temperature environments to prevent hose aging. If it must be exposed for a long time, it is recommended to take sunshade measures or use hoses made of high-temperature resistant materials.

Avoid contact between the hose and chemicals to avoid corrosion or performance. If it must be exposed to chemicals, a hose with corresponding chemical corrosion resistance should be selected.

Check the appearance of the hose regularly to check for surface defects such as pits, scratches, cracks, and deformation. Once a defect is found, a new hose should be replaced immediately to prevent breakage or leakage.

Clean the inside of the hose regularly to remove impurities and dirt. Use a suitable cleaning agent when cleaning, and ensure that the cleaning agent does not damage the hose material.

Avoid heavy objects pressing on the hose to avoid damage. At the same time, keep the hose flat and avoid working in a bent or twisted state.

Check the connection of the hose regularly to ensure that the connection is tight and reliable to prevent falling off or leakage.

Ensure that the plastic reinforced hose is used within the specified temperature and pressure range. Exceeding these ranges may cause damage to the hose or degraded performance.
Operate the valve slowly to avoid building up shock pressure that could damage the plastic hose.
Avoid using plastic hose in bends near metal parts to reduce wear and damage. When the hose is applied to powders and granules, use the largest possible bend radius.
Avoid touching the plastic hose directly or near open flames to prevent fire or damage.
Follow the manufacturer's installation and maintenance recommendations and regularly check the condition and integrity of the hose to detect and repair any potential damage or problems.
